Currently a state Game Warden for North Carolina, Nathan started Old

River & Co. as a way of giving back to the community. At a very

young age he enjoyed many outdoor Activities in the Blue Ridge

mountains. Nathan is an avid hunter who enjoys many different types of

hunting. Waterfowl hunting is Nathan’s favorite. Nathan works on his

family’s farm along with spending time with his fiancée, Courtney.

Nathan credits much of the success of Old River to her. Nathan hopes

that Old River & Co. can help shine a spotlight on his home town of

Sparta, and bring people into the area. Nathan’s goal is to make a town

where young people feel like they don’t have to leave in order to make

something of themselves.
